LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- MEZZO Soprano Carly Paoli's voice has been described as "beautiful" by teenage opera star and America's Got Talent finalist Jackie Evancho.

The teenager singer and former child star, who came second on Simon Cowell's nationwide talent search in 2010, made the comments after hearing Carly perform at the David Foster Foundation Miracle Gala in Canada on September 27.

Fourteen-year-old Jackie, who also performed at the event in Calgary and who has duetted with Barbra Streisand since launching her career in 2010, said: "Carly has a fantastic voice.

"She's very beautiful and her voice matches that so well. She's impressive and I like her sound."

Miss Paoli -- a brand ambassador for luxury Swiss watch brand Bedat & Co. who sponsored the David Foster Foundation Gala -- was part of a prestigious line-up of artists performing on the night including Aerosmith lead singer Steve Tyler and Oscar nominated actress Jennifer Hudson.

Asked about the support of brands like Bedat & Co., who helped the David Foster Foundation raise $8.2 million for children needing organ transplants, Jackie said: "I think it's very important because there's so much going on in this world that's not exactly good.

"Just fixing each problem, one at a time, even though it's a small difference, it is still making a difference and it's making progress towards a better place."
