Brookfield Place Perth will play host to Vividwireless Cup for a Cause, raising awareness for Anti-Poverty Week and The Big Issue from 13th–17th October. The pop up coffee station will pour a selection of coffees by Brookfield Place vendor; Small Print, each day. Gold coin donations will benefit The Big Issue, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting and creating job opportunities.

Anti-Poverty Week aims to strengthen public understanding of the causes and consequences of poverty and hardship around the world and within Australia.   Vividwireless Cup for a Cause supports this great initiative and hopes to raise awareness for Anti-Poverty Week in Perth, WA.  Anti-Poverty Week, encourages research, discussion and action to address these problems, including action by individual, communities, organisations and governments.

The event also aims to raise awareness for The Big Issue, Australia’s longest-standing and most significant social enterprise. It is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that develops solutions to help homeless, marginalised and disadvantaged people positively change their lives. Their social enterprises include The Big Issue magazine, the Women's Subscription Enterprise and The Big Issue Classroom which provides opportunities for people to earn an income, but most of all build confidence and their capacity to help themselves.

Vividwireless, a wireless internet service provider encourages the Perth community to support this worthy cause and understand the issues associated with poverty and homelessness.  It is an ongoing crisis that deprives people of many of life’s basics such as shelter, food and clothing.

Vividwireless Cup for a Cause will be located at Main Square at Brookfield Place Perth from 13 – 17 October, serving coffee from 7.00am to 10.00am daily for a gold coin donation.

Brookfield Place Perth is a proud supporter of several worthy charities such as Starlight Foundation, David Wirrpanda Foundation, Mobile GP and Save The Children; they are proud to be lending their support to The Big Issue and Anti-Poverty Week this year.

Updates about  the event will be available at the Vividwireless Facebook page; facebook.com/vividwireless4G
