Today the first ever BO$$ camp is unleashed on Adelaide with around 100 young people experiencing what it could be like to be an entrepreneur.
Hearing world class speakers, being mentored by successful entrepreneurs and connecting with the startup community, makes BO$$ camp a unique event and school holiday activity for 15-18 year olds.
“This is about being a job maker, not a job taker,” says BO$$ camp founder Sasha Dragovelic.
Budding entrepreneurs will find problems, brainstorm and refine ideas, decide upon a solution and get that product or service as far developed as they can before pitching to a judging panel.
“South Australia needs more of an entrepreneurial take on things. Young people should see starting their own business as a great option, in a state that supports economic development, growth and innovation,” says Wendy Perry who manages strategic relationships for BO$$ camp.
BO$$ camp is being run over 8-9.10.14 at the Australian Science and Maths School, Bedford Park.
