Research Tuesdays Seminar Series: The Streets Are Alive

Urban mobility and the public space will be the theme of the October 2014 Research Tuesdays seminar, presented by University of Adelaide urban and cultural geographer Dr Jennifer Bonham.

Dr Bonham’s lecture will reflect on how street spaces were used in the 19th and 20th centuries, and discuss the innovative possibilities opening up in Adelaide and cities around the world, such as the “pop-up” phenomenon.

Healthy Development Adelaide: Connecting With Teenagers

Four speakers will address diverse issues for teenagers and their families: depression among adolescents; sun and skin cancer protection; the role of young Aboriginal men in families; and chlamydia.

Presented by experts from the University of Adelaide, Cancer Council SA, Flinders University and SHine SA.
