The Norfolk Island Vets Golf tournament is a staple golf event on Norfolk Island. Repeat visitors return for that magic golf mix of playing on one of the most beautiful historic golf courses in the world combined with a late summer holiday on Norfolk Island.

Local travel specialist Norfolk Island Travel Centre invites golfers, family and friends to join them 10-13 February 2015 for this renowned friendly golf comp.

The Norfolk Island Golf course is bordered by the South Pacific Ocean and historic world heritage listed Kingston area. A summer sea breeze is pretty much guaranteed and creates an extra dimension when playing the course. A three day (54 hole gross or 54 hole stableford event) the tournament will be held 10-13 February 2015.

Participants must be 40 years or over and there are three age divisions. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals can be won for the best gross in each section plus a huge prize table is up for grabs.

The Norfolk Island Travel Centre has special packages for travel from Sydney 9-14  February 2015 and Brisbane 7-14 February 2015. Prices start from $889 per person ex Brisbane and $939 per person ex Sydney for a twin share seven night stay. The price includes return “seat and bag” airfare to Norfolk Island, airline taxes, meet & greet at Norfolk airport, 7 night’s twin share self-contained accommodation, 7 days car hire (hire car surcharge $20 per day plus petrol extra), discount shopping card, complimentary miniature golf and complimentary ‘A Walk in the Wild’.  Conditions apply.  Prices are current today and subject to change without notice.

Golf registration is additional to the above package prices and payable direct to the Norfolk Golf Club.  Entry fee is $170 per player, first 120 entries accepted, and includes 3 days of golf, souvenir photo, green fees, welcome evening and presentation island fish fry.

Non participants including partners, family and friends are welcome to attend social golf club functions and enjoy a holiday on Norfolk Island.

Those unable to travel in February, could consider the super popular Governor’s Cup in November 2014 or Hardys Pro-Am Classic in August 2015.
