Giant Sea Turtle arrives to celebrate World First Undersea Art Exhibition at a SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium
WHAT: A gigantic, 5 metre tall, 15 metre long Sea Turtle will cruise Sydney Harbour past the iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House to celebrate the opening of the World’s First Undersea Art Exhibition at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium.
The monumental floating sculpture is emblazoned with BJ Price Art’s seminal art-design “Alpha”, an abstract expressionist black and white rendering of coral reef structures.
The floating sculpture named the Alpha Turtle will be berthed at Cockle Bay near to SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium announcing the opening the Undersea Art Exhibition. The Aquarium will host the art exhibition 12 Aug to 11 Sep ’14, featuring a collection of BJ Price’s abstract paintings submerged in the underwater display tanks.
