Internationally renowned reproductive medicine specialist, Professor Robert Norman AO, will deliver the Healthy Development Adelaide 10th Anniversary Oration at the University of Adelaide next week (Wednesday 6 August).

His talk is Destiny’s children and fortune’s orphans – lessons from the start of life, to be held in Elder Hall.

Robert Norman is Professor of Reproductive and Periconceptual Medicine at the University of Adelaide's Robinson Research Institute and the School of Paediatrics and Reproductive Health.

His major research contributions have been in IVF, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), the effect of lifestyle on reproductive outcomes, and the critical importance of the time of conception.

At the event, Professor Norman will also receive the Healthy Development Adelaide Award for 2014.
