Gains Special Recognition as One of 50 "Up and Comers"

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- (Marketwired) -- Gridstore?, a leader in software-defined storage (SDS) purpose-built and optimized for Windows Servers and Hyper-V, today announced that Victoria Grey, CMO, has been named to the 2014 CRN Women of the Channel. The annual list highlights the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution, and solution provider organizations, and the impact they are having on the advancement of the IT channel industry as a whole. In addition to the master list, Victoria also gained special recognition being named one of the 50 top "Up and Comers."

In 2014 Ms. Grey successfully re-launched the Gridstore Accelerate Partner Program in the U.S. and introduced it into the EMEA market, initially focusing on the UK. She has since helped expand the program to encompass the Nordic region of EMEA.

At Gridstore all business goes through the channel, and with these new programs she has ramped the recruiting and engagement efforts with storage VARs, integrators and service providers resulting in a dramatic increase in growth in all geographies. The Accelerate program offers partners generous margins, deal registration, live and online training, sales support, marketing programs and materials, MDF, sales and technical support, and a dedicated partner portal for easy access to all things Gridstore. In the coming quarters Victoria will be extending the new MDF program to encompass EMEA for co-marketing activities.

Under her guidance, Gridstore has hosted most of their US partners at Gridstore Corporate headquarters for live sales and technical training, which are offered quarterly, and in EMEA they have provided this in-depth training live onsite at the partner's location. She was instrumental in designing and launching a quarterly business planning session with key resellers, resulting in joint activities such as webinars, email campaigns, live events, tradeshows, and customer seminars. The quarterly business planning session is supported by the programs new 2014 MDF program offering partners joint marketing activities with opportunity for sponsorship by Gridstore.

Earlier in the year Victoria launched a new corporate website and in Q3 will be launching a fully revamped Partner Portal with improved usability, new assets and supporting materials for partners to grow their Gridstore business. In her role she is a key visionary in the strategic planning for expanding the global sales organization with additional regional reps and inside sales reps all that directly support the channel. Early in Q3 she will launch a "Dog Days of Summer" SPIF program for channel reps and expects to offer more promotions each quarter, that may be tied to channel certifications, activities and effectiveness.

Victoria has over 20 years' experience in technology sales and marketing, with a specialty in the data storage business. She joined Gridstore from Soonr where she was chief marketing officer of worldwide marketing. While at Soonr she initiated a complete overhaul of the company's channel program, winning the XCellence Award from CRN's XChange, and resulting in dramatic growth in North American channel partners and sales. Prior to Soonr she was at Nexsan, a leader in unified hybrid storage, where she was senior vice president of worldwide corporate and product marketing. While at Nexsan she drove the complete rebranding of all aspects of the company, driving significant growth rates through a network of partners. She was named a "Woman of the Channel" in 2013, and was awarded the Tribute to Women in Technology award and has served on a number of industry boards.
