Exclusive Event Drives Innovation and Collaboration for Brands
NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- The iCrossing Collaboratory, a resource within iCrossing dedicated to connecting clients with the most innovative partners, platforms and start-ups to creatively solve business challenges, is hosting an exclusive #hatch event during Internet Week New York.
The event connects iCrossing clients with hand-selected partners in real-time working sessions in order to "hatch" an innovative solution to a specific business challenge each brand is facing. For example, Pep Boys, one of the brands attending, will be working with partners to drive innovation around its approach to customer acquisition and retention.
"We strive to infuse innovation into everything we do from operations to marketing," said Ron Stoupa, Pep Boys CMO. "This event gives us the opportunity to take that innovation to the next level by interacting with start-ups and other new partners that bring a fresh perspective that can help push our business forward."
The iCrossing Collaboratory invited partners to participate in the #hatch based on several criteria including the company's track record of innovation, skillset in digital technology and expertise in targeted fields such as video, mobile and sonic branding.
"As brand challenges become increasingly complex, we need to innovatively solve problems and create non-traditional opportunities -- to do that today, collaboration is critical," said Constance DeCherney, vice president of strategic partnerships and head of the iCrossing Collaboratory. "Our goal with this #hatch event and the iCrossing Collaboratory is to connect our clients with bold disruptors, emerging platforms, and forward-thinking technologists."
In addition to members from iCrossing and Hearst, the partners attending include Jingle Punks, NorthSouth Productions, Opera Mediaworks, SHIFT, Stylus, Steller, and Yext, who is also co-sponsoring the event's cocktail reception.
"We help our customers solve GeoMarketing challenges creatively with our cutting-edge technology, so we're excited to bring our problem-solving skills to the #hatch to create practical and effective real-world solutions for brands," said Wendi Sturgis, EVP sales and services at Yext.
The #hatch event will be held at the Hearst Tower in New York City on Thursday, May 22, 2014.
The iCrossing Collaboratory hosted its first #hatch event at Digiday's Agency Summit in February 2014. At the event, more than 50 digital experts from across the marketing landscape collaborated together to solve a challenge Toyota is facing -- how to launch a new car for a new generation of car buyers.
