Senator the Hon Scott Ryan, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Education, will be participating as a panel member on the live online Youth 20 (Y20) Q&A Event, to be held in Canberra, from 5.00 to 6.00 pm AEST on Wednesday, 9 April 2014, during National Youth Week. Other members of the Q&A expert panel include representatives from the Australian Y20 delegation, academia and the not-for-profit sector.
The panel will discuss pressing issues facing youth in Australia and around the world, such as growth and jobs creation, sustainable development, and global citizenship and mobility.
Leading up to the panel event, Senator Ryan has invited questions on these topics through the OurSay “Ask Me Anything’” forum. The top three questions will feed into the panel event. Submit and vote for your top questions at the Our Say website .
This online event provides an opportunity for young people across Australia to have their say and contribute to Y20 discussions.
