Adelaide Life Coach Diana Hutchison is set to launch her first book, Setting Yourself Free: A Practical Guide to Self-Change, on 5 April 2014.
The book, published by Balboa Press, provides advice and guidance to those who are just commencing a journey of self-discovery, as well as people who have already begun a process of self-change and are looking for additional help and direction.
Diana Hutchison helps readers to identify elements of their lives that they want to change and then guides them step-by-step through the processes and courses of action needed to instigate self-change. A feature of the book is that it successfully combines an exploration of the nature and process of self-change with practical, easy-to-follow exercises that help to facilitate it.
Written in an easy-to-read style and organised into compact chapters that make navigation straightforward, the importance of goal setting to the process of self-change is explored in depth, and the book demonstrates clearly and simply how to develop and set achievable short-, medium- and long-term goals, as well as how to review, adapt and then act upon them.
Diana Hutchison currently runs Directions Coaching and offers life coaching and business coaching for individuals and groups in Adelaide. A former psychologist, Diana has extensive experience in counselling people from all sectors of society and a wide variety of occupations and professions. This book is the product of her own personal journey of self-discovery, as well as the knowledge and skills gained through her wide-ranging counselling experience.

Directions Coaching in Adelaide is run by Diana Hutchison. Diana has a background in psychology and worked for 15 years as a counsellor within the prison system. Returning to Adelaide from Sydney she took a complete break for a time while exploring the possibilities of library work. However, she found that she missed the satisfaction of helping people and so decided to direct her energies to the positive aspect of human improvement and became a life coach, using her qualifications from Sydney University.
Diana has experience in helping and working with people from all sectors of society and a wide variety of occupations and professions, and is a soon-to-be published author. She finds life coaching a positive and inspiring endeavour.
