Earlier this month, the world discovered some of its most mysterious sacred texts are now only a few key strokes away as the Leon Levy Dead Sea Scrolls Digital Library went global. (http://www.deadseascrolls.org.il/)
The interest that has always surrounded this fascinating treasure trove of Religion’s oldest known copies of Biblical texts has only continued to grow with every new discovery within them. And now that anyone can access the scrolls via their computer or even their cellphone, that fascination is skyrocketing.
More than 2000 years ago, the scrolls were hidden away in the caves of Qumran, only to be rediscovered by a Bedouin shepherd boy in 1946. Years of dispute and secrets followed, but the one overwhelming question remains … Why were the scrolls left in those 12 caves at Wadi Qumran?
Enter Logan Crowe’s Secrets of the Dead Sea Scrolls. An action-packed romp through the Negev desert, Secrets of the Dead Sea Scrolls offers an intriguing tale of how the scrolls came to be in their dark hiding place. With an accurate nod to the historical and Biblical facts of the time, this thriller keeps readers on the edge of their seats until the mystery is solved.
Secrets of the Dead Sea Scrolls now available in digital and print format at http://logancrowe.com/e-store.php.

Logan Crowe - Author
Born 1951 England, educated in UK. I started traveling as a young boy seeking adventure. At 21 took off with a friend for Africa. Crossed Africa north to South through the Sahara, sometimes on foot, as our old Land Rover did not want to travel as far as we did. I got my inspiration for the Dead Sea Scrolls (another book I wrote) while we were holed up in an abandoned French Foreign Legion outpost, called Fort Mirabelle. It was here, in the middle of the desert in Algeria that we stayed until we had repaired the engine.
Cold desert nights, watching Bedouin camp fires in the distance, not knowing who was friend or foe, is a great catalyst for an over active imagination. 8 Months later, having dodged many conflicts and machine gun totting patrols we rolled into South Africa bound for Australia determined to swim the coral of the Great Barrier Reef.
Fate had a different plan for me. In Johannesburg I met a Brazilian girl who professed undying love for this young Brit. I changed my ticket and flew off to Rio de Janeiro in search of my love. Once in Rio, she was nowhere to be found. Short on funds I stayed, got a job with General Motors in Sao Paulo. 8 years later with two children, I had accumulated enough money to take off again for what I thought my final destination. Landing in Oklahoma, in the middle of the 1980's oil boom, I set up my home in Oklahoma City with my two blessings from God. Fate gain intervened; on a trip to Texas I met the one true love of my life, my wife Jenny. The poor misguided sole decided to take me on, and has been my inspiration for the last 20 years; together we are raising another gift from God, our Grandson Devon. He is already a "chip off the old block" an avid adventurer, having got closer to an old bull elephant in the wild than I would dare! It is with my wife's insistence and support that I put pen to paper to hopefully profit from my adventures and over active imagination.
