Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 - Dapple EQ

South Australia’s newest equestrian fashion retailer Dapple EQ, based in Mt Barker, South Australia is wowing equestrians nationally with its range of premium equine fashion.

Adelaide, South Australia, 18/4/2017

Dapple EQ launched its retail store, followed closely but its online store for equestrian fashion in 2015. It has rapidly gained a reputation as one of Australia’s leading suppliers of premium global brands such as Animo, ANKY, Equiline, Secchiari, Pampeano, Kentucky, Anna Scarpati, Equestrian Stockholm and PS of Sweden.

The company is owned and operated by two passionate equestrian talents, Carla Cerchi and Lara Pizimolas, both of the Adelaide Hills.

As part of expanding its reach into all Australian states, the company has recently exhibited at the country’s largest equestrian festivals, including the prestigious 2017 Dressage and Jumping with Stars (24 to 26th March) and EquiFest (30th March to 3rd April).

Co-Founder, Carla Cerchi commented; “We’ve worked hard to bring the leading equestrian brands to the Australian horse enthusiast. Being part of one of Australia’s leading events such as Dressage and Jumping with the Stars has really allowed us to engage with our customers and network with others in our industry. It has also served to do some market research to understand what the Australian horse enthusiasts really want in their fashion and technical apparel”

2017 Dressage and Jumping with the Stars:

·  DJWTS is Australia’s premier event for dressage, jumping and eventing horse breeders and importers to display their progeny with feedback from local and overseas judges;

·  DJWTS includes a ‘future stars’ Showjumping competition for horses already jumping 130cm+ to display their skills and abilities over higher courses;

·  Freestyle competitions and many more higher grade dressage exhibitions were held in the indoor arena, showcasing some excellent training and campaigning;

It is held at the National Equestrian Center in Werribee, Victoria, annually.

Dapple EQ was able to showcase many products that are exclusive in Australia, such as Stivaleria Secchiari bespoke boots, Animo Italia, Anna Scarpati, Kentucky Horsewear, Lorenzini and Pampeano. They are the only stockist of Secchiari boots in Australia and New Zealand, and have three styles of off-the-shelf boots available for immediate purchase. The quality and workmanship of these boots is exceptional. Nipping at their heels is an exciting new product from Animo – the ZACON leather riding boot. Dapple EQ have an entire run of sizes from very small through to very large in a range of heights and calf widths. These boots have so far fitted pretty much everyone who has tried them with an excellent fit and great price range.

Dapple EQ headed to EquiFest in NSW (formerly Equine Lifestyle Festival “ELF”) where they are showcasing the new Animo Spring Summer 17 collection with the largest and widest range of Animo in Australia. EquiFest has around 1000 competitors, and the highlight event would be the Puissance Wall event which draws a full class of competitors and enormous spectator support. The wall is truly enormous at over 2m high. This year they were aiming to break the Australian record – which still remains intact.

EquiFest proved to be an excellent platform to meet and greet new customers from NSW and QLD who previously hadn’t experienced Dapple EQ at any of the Victorian or South Australian shows. It also provided us with greater understanding on the requirements and desires of the market and created further networks with industry leaders which will reflect in Dapple EQ’s news throughout the year.
