By popular demand one of Australia's favourite frontmen, the enigmatic Phil Jamieson of enduring rock band Grinspoon, will play a second Solo Acoustic show at The Royal Oak Hotel in North Adelaide, South Australia on Wednesday the 26th of February, 2014.
This exciting announcement comes only weeks after news of the band's decision to go on an indefinite hiatus to "recharge their batteries", and a well-deserved break it will be.
One of Australia's hardest working bands, Grinspoon has played countless gigs and featured at many top festivals over the past 18 years. To see Phil solo and up close and personal in this intimate venue will be an absolute treat.
Releasing Black Rabbits in September 2012, and making its ARIA chart debut at number 8, Grinspoon has continued to wow crowds across the nation. Phil's solo acoustic gig will see him perform old favourites along with newely scribed tunes, and the show will no doubt play to a sell-out crowd.
Since its formation in 1995 and the band's debut recording Guide to Better Living, Grinspoon has sold over 500,000 albums in Australia and gone on to become one of our most adored live bands.
This will be a night to remember, and a wonderful opportunity to wish Phil well while he and his fellow band mates pursue side projects and enjoy time with their respective family and friends.
We can't wait!
