Norfolk Island history is rich and multi-faceted. Next year 15-20 March 2014, Historian Cathy Dunn will escort a group of visitors from Australia to hone in on Norfolk Island’s First Fleet history.

Based on the South Coast of NSW, Cathy has been involved with family history, general history and heritage for many years. Her work includes Historic cultural landscapes including cemeteries, lecturing and teaching History workshops, heritage impact Statements, heritage assessments and family history research.

Cathy published Norfolk Island Deaths: 1st Settlement 1788–1814, and continues to document her early Norfolk Island research with another book soon to be released in partnership with local Norfolk Island historian Liz McCoy.

March will be one of many repeat visits to Norfolk Island for Cathy, she typically escorts a minimum of one group each year to Norfolk Island. Cathy delights in sharing her extensive knowledge and visiting key historic areas with fellow history lovers and First Fleet descendants.
