Norfolk Island Country Music Association has pulled out all the stops for their 21st anniversary program and line-up. Hot headliner Darren Coggan from Australia joins Patsy Riggir from New Zealand. Guest artists Tamara Stewart, Victoria Baillie and Baylou from Australia, Eddie Low, Craig Adams, Annette Hawkins, Kylie Austin and Kylie Price from New Zealand will also meet and perform on this South Pacific isle.

Fans say there’s a reason they keep coming back to Norfolk Island. The island is small so the experience is up close and personal, they have the chance to mix and mingle one on one with performers at a special platinum pass lunch and through the week and it’s the relaxed island vibe which is nothing short of enchanting for fans and headliners alike.

Darren Coggan’s professional career started in 1999 since starring as “Richie Cunningham” in the World Premiere Mega Musical “Happy Days” he has added many feathers to his cap including winning his first Golden Guitar at the 2001 Toyota Country Music Awards in Australia and numerous appearances on Australian television and musicals. In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Darren was awarded the ‘Centenary Medal’ – ‘For Services to Australian Society’ in 2003. This same year, he released his second album, "Balancing Act", for which he was awarded ‘Australian Independent Male Vocalist of the Year’. In 2010 Darren kicked off “Peace Train – The Cat Stevens Story” and then continued to play every major venue in Australia on a national tour.

Darren is joined by Tamara Stewart. After the release of her first album ‘The Way The World Is’ in 2001, Singer/Songwriter Tamara has been at the forefront of Country Music talent and brings a special dimension to next year’s festival. With numerous awards, Golden Guitar nominations, and winning her first Golden Guitar at this year’s Country Music Awards in Tamworth, Tamara will captivate her audience with her superb vocals and incredible musical talent.

Special appearances from previous Trans-Tasman Entertainer of the Year winners including Victoria Baillie, Annette Hawkins, Kylie Austin and Kylie Price are also sure to impress. Teamed with a smashing line up from New Zealand including renowned long-time favourite Patsy Riggir the Norfolk Country Music festival offers a unique melding of Trans-Tasman talent.
