Catapult eLearning and smallPRINT will be travelling to mainland capital cities throughout Australia this October. This year’s annual Roadshow will showcase smallPRINT’s new independently reviewed assessment model and Catapult eLearning’s new Web Content Accessibility Guideline (WCAG) compliant and mobile device compatible resources.
Catapult eLearning will demonstrate its new Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 resources at this year’s event. WCAG will be a requirement for all eLearning resources by January 2014. “In addition to ensuring our resources meet these guidelines”, Douglass says “our eLearning resources are now compatible across multiple devices, including tablets and other mobile devices”.
Smallprint will also showcase its new assessment model at this year’s events. General Manager, Craig Douglass says “Our new product includes several new features, such as new observation checklists and supplementary evidence gathering tools, a pre-assessment section, comprehensive instructions for learners and assessors and a range contextualisation tools”. The new model has been developed in consultation with a number of VET industry stakeholders. “We work with clients every day who are going through the audit process. As part of our continuous improvement program we have used these insights to develop a more comprehensive assessment model” said Douglass.
The Roadshows will visit Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Tuesday 8 October, Brisbane Hilton on Thursday 17 October, Sydney Hilton on Tuesday 22 October, Adelaide Hilton on Thursday 24 October and Perth Parmelia Hilton on Tuesday 29 October.
