Mel Symons joins Business Chicks as Gold Coast emcee

Australia’s largest network for women will launch their community on the Gold Coast next week with a breakfast event with current Australian of the Year Ita Buttrose. Media veteran Mel Symons will join Business Chicks as emcee at the event.

Mel has been on Australian television for over 20 years with roles on shows that include Sydney Weekender, Saturday Disney and Wheel of Fortune. As one of Australia’s most loved media personalities Mel is an experienced emcee who has hosted events including Fashions on the Field for the Australian Jockey Club and the Australian Wallabies Tour.

"I’m really excited to be joining Business Chicks because an organisation like this supporting and inspiring one another and, giving back to the community, is a powerful thing. It's how change comes about in our lives and in the lives of others. Plus, it'll be fun!" Mel Symons.

Mel joins Business Chicks’ high profile emcee family that includes Carrie Bickmore Deborah Hutton and Sandra Sully.

Business Chicks

At Business Chicks we believe that great stuff happens when women come together to uplift and inspire each other. When we stop competing, and start lending a hand. When we give of ourselves and our expertise so that others can benefit from it. We imagine a world where women feel part of something bigger than themselves, and a world where we feel safe to give anything a go.
