Taking place from 1st to 8th September on the Career FAQs website and social media channels, the program will showcase a new piece of engaging and informative content each day, including educational resources, visual infographics, interviews and personal learning stories.
The program’s highlight will take the form of a live chat with qualified career advisor, Jo Messer, which will be hosted on the Career FAQs Facebook page on 5th September and carried across on Twitter via @CareerFAQs using the hashtag #CFAQsChat.ng Participants will be given the opportunity to address common learning conundrums and curiosities, like upskilling for career advancement, matching goals with the right educational tools and juggling study and parenthood.

Supported by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) and run by Adult Learning Australia, Adult Learners’ Week underscores the benefits of sustained learning and sparks discussion about the provision of adult learning services in Australia.

This year’s theme is ‘pathways’, and Career FAQs will be highlighting the many different learning options available.

Dedicated to providing extensive career advice and online courses, Career FAQs is an avid supporter of learning at any age.
And, with almost half of all Australian adults considered functionally illiterate, the need to foster and encourage sustained learning activities has never been greater.
Throughout the week, website visitors will also be encouraged to share their own experiences in exchange for the opportunity to win a Coles/Myer gift card valued at $100.
