Lalabazaar is an emerging online boutique, launched in September 2012 by former Queensland high-fashion model and television presenter Suzie Lightfoot. Original and refreshing, Suzie and her team including fashion obsessed Toya Carter and fashion graduate Loren McKone, provide over 8,000 fashion followers with creative, inspirational and up-to-the-minute fashion images, inside scoops and fashion shoots. After a highly successful Lalabazaar Winter 2013 launch, Suzie Lightfoot is bringing her signature Lala Culture to Queensland’s premier fashion showcase, striding the catwalk with some of our best home-grown designers, fashion retailers and emerging talent. Big names, small names, going-to-be-huge-someday personalities, Lalabazaar promote local designers, including Cameo, Keepsake, Finders Keepers, Three of Something, Minty Meets Munt, Oneoneseven, and introducing new Western Australian designer label Zed Alliance.

Lalabazaar has fast become renowned for its unique and innovative take on street-fashion with its new season Cover Girl shoots that include exotic locations, wildlife and edgy styling! 

“We will be showcasing some of the best street-wear chic Australian Fashion Labels in true Lala style – think urban chic splashed with lashings of high-fashion runway flair. The Lala girl is no wall flower, she loves her fashion, is up-to-the-minute and likes to standout and be noticed,” said Suzie.

“Our collection will be bright, bold, diverse and inspirational, showing off the talents of some of Australia’s hottest youth designers. Brisbane’s MBFF will also be first to preview the new design threads from Western Australian youth label Zed Alliance,” said Suzie. 

Check the latest labels with Lalabazaar at Brisbane City Hall, at MBFF Group Show - on Wednesday 28th of August, at 8:00pm. Tickets start at $52.
