In the ever evolving world of marketing, the need for marketers’ minds to be constantly energised with new ideas and thinking is an essential part of success.
    
Aristotle stated, “The energy of the mind is the essence of life.”

Marketing Week 2013 will explore the theme of ‘Energise from 12 – 16 August at the Adelaide Festival Centre encouraging the marketing and communications industry to “turn on, motivate and inspire”.

The largest annual marketing conference of its kind in Australia, Marketing Week 2013 will bring together presenters and delegates representing a range of industries including marketing, advertising, graphic design, and market research.

Speakers include Naked Communications’ Founder Adam Ferrier and News Limited’s Group Director of Digital Product and Development Alisa Bowen, Keith Dugdale, one of the co-authors of “Smarter Selling” (Financial Times / Prentice Hall) will also be presenting.

The Australian Science Media Centre’s Susannah Eliott, CSIRO’s Oona Nielssen and Arup’s Tim Jarvis will feature in a panel discussion called ‘Who Cares About the Effing Penguins, around the art of communicating science.  

Marketing Week 2013 Chair Chris Dalton said that this year’s conference was designed to inspire marketers with a new energy and enthusiasm for the profession.
