Business Chicks, Australia’s largest community for women, launches on the Gold Coast with a breakfast featuring special guest Ita Buttrose.
Australia’s largest community for women in business, Business Chicks, will expand their reach this year as they launch their community on the Gold Coast. The national organisation of more than 30,000 members currently has a presence in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra and are set to launch in the Gold Coast in September this year.
In true Business Chicks style they’ll start with a bang, presenting Australian of the Year Ita Buttrose for a breakfast event in September.
“We’re very excited to be bringing Business Chicks to the women of the Gold Coast. We already have quite a number of members who call the Gold Coast home so it’s wonderful to be able to extend our offering to them. We decided to launch there because our members kept asking for us to, and it’s such a vibrant and growing business community,” says Business Chicks CEO, Emma Isaacs.
“We’re excited to bring an incredible events program to encourage networking, inspiration and client and staff engagement this year and are thrilled to start with one of my all-time favourite speakers Ita Buttrose.”

Business Chicks is Australia’s largest network for women, with over 30,000 members across Australia. We offer a sophisticated online member platform, publish a quarterly magazine called Latte and run the highest-attended events on the corporate women’s calendar, with up to 1700 guests at each event. Previous Business Chicks speakers include Sir Richard Branson, Olivia Newton-John, Dannii Minogue, Sir Bob Geldof and Diane von Furstenberg. Events include breakfasts, lunches, workshops and networking functions, and are open to members and guests.
At Business Chicks we believe that great stuff happens when women come together to uplift and inspire each other. When we stop competing, and start lending a hand. When we give of ourselves and our expertise so that others can benefit from it. We imagine a world where women feel part of something bigger than themselves, and a world where we feel safe to give anything a go.
