Today Roy Morgan Research continues its pre-election research monitoring electors’ reactions to the events and players of last night. Pre and post the ballot – Julia Gillard; Kevin Rudd; Bill Shorten; Wayne Swan and Tony Albanese.

Roy Morgan Reactor will be available later this afternoon.

Last night history was made, Kevin Rudd was returned as Labor leader. Roy Morgan Research with a snap SMS Morgan Poll of 2,530 electors showed the move gave the ALP a serious chance of retaining Government (ALP 49.5% c.f LNP 50.5%).
