A free public lecture, The globalisation of inequality, will be held at the University of Adelaide at 5.30pm on Friday 24 May.

The lecture is the 2013 Joseph Fisher Public Lecture, hosted by the University of Adelaide's School of Economics.

The guest speaker will be Professor Francois Bourguignon, Director and founder of the Paris School of Economics.

The Joseph Fisher lecture has been presented at the University of Adelaide almost every other year since 1904. This is the 57th Joseph Fisher Lecture. Funds for the lectures and a medal for the top commerce student each year were provided by an endowment to the University in 1903 by prominent Adelaide businessman Joseph Fisher.
