TAFE SA has announced another milestone in its transformation with the appointment of three executives to the organisation's senior ranks.
The transformation of TAFE SA into a single training organisation has reached another important milestone with the announcement of three key executive appointments.
Jen Rodger has been appointed as the organisation’s Executive Director of Education while Cathie Brown will take up the position of Executive Director of Business Development and Regions. David Royle has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of TAFE SA.
TAFE SA Chair Peter Vaughan said the appointments were an important stage in the ongoing transformation from its current three Institutes – TAFE SA Adelaide North, Adelaide South and Regional – into one unified operation.
“TAFE SA is the largest provider of vocational education and training in South Australia; it has a fantastic track record in training students and a brand that is front of mind with South Australians. However, we are entering a new and more competitive market and the Board is overseeing a transformation of the organisation,” said Mr Vaughan.
“The appointment of these experienced professionals in these new roles underlines our commitment to transform TAFE SA into a united entity that is not only delivering in the present but also prepared for the future.
“The end result will be a more cohesive, flexible and responsive TAFE SA that is one organisation rather than the three separate Institutes and this announcement is another important milestone in this process.”
Cathie, Jen and David will commence in their roles from today, Monday 29 April.
The process to select the best candidate for the position of the Chief Executive Officer is nearing completion.
