racing car driver, Matt Speakman makes world history at Mallala Raceway, Adelaide

Matt Speakman www.mattspeakman.com was paralysed 20 years ago when he was knocked off his motorcycle by a drunk driver and his passenger killed.

His is an amazing story of determination and courage to fight for his right to race – it took him 18 years to convince the Confederation of Motors Sports to give him a circuit licence.

He is the only driver competing without the use of his legs.
