MASON, OH and CINCINNATI, OH -- (Marketwired) -- Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is pleased to announce its agreement with ConnXus, a next generation procurement platform that provides major corporations, health systems, construction firms and government agencies with a fully-integrated supplier diversity technology solution.
Cincinnati Children's has a goal to spend 7.5 percent of the medical center's annual budget for purchased goods and services with minority- and women-owned (MWBE) businesses. "This collaboration with Cincinnati Children's represents a huge step toward our goal of becoming the leading provider of supplier diversity solutions to the healthcare industry," said Rod Robinson, ConnXus founder and CEO. "As we continue to build customer relationships with committed, high quality healthcare organizations like Children's, we will be better enabled to provide the market with access to a deeper pool of healthcare-qualified diverse suppliers."
De Asa Brown, Supplier Diversity Manager, and the person who will manage the Cincinnati Children's-ConnXus relationship says that she is looking forward to working with the company.
