This July will be Norfolk Island’s eleventh Open Field Archery championships. Run over four days 1-4 July this event attracts families by catering for all ages including “cub” divisions and adult compound, recurve and long bow, and let’s not forget the island’s special chook chaser division.

Non participants, partners, family and friends are encouraged to come along. The local club say hospitality is their middle name. They plan many social gatherings through the week and there are lots of activities and tours available for partners to enjoy this sub-tropical island holiday getaway.

In fact the program is structured around visiting Australian and New Zealanders with the competition held in the mornings so participants have the afternoons and evenings free to enjoy everything the island has to offer.
