Peters Will Lead Nationwide Team to Drive Engagement and Visibility for Clients Through Social Media
NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- iCrossing, a global digital marketing agency, promoted Amanda Peters, 29, to head of social media for its U.S. operations. As the leader of iCrossing's social media practice, Peters is charged with driving increased engagement, visibility and loyalty for iCrossing's clients through social media.
Peters will oversee the agency's rapidly growing social media practice, and manage a nationwide team of social strategists, content creators and community managers. As iCrossing focuses on building brands through the power of connectedness, Peters will lead the practice with an emphasis on the interplay and impact of social across bought, owned and earned media.

Peters joined iCrossing in 2010, and has been instrumental in the expansion of the agency's social media practice in that time. She has led successful social media programs for brands such as LG Electronics, Hampton Hotels and TXU Energy.

Prior to iCrossing, Peters served as a writer and producer on WNBC's "Digital Life with Shelly Palmer" where she was nominated for two Emmy Awards. She also worked at Advanced Media Ventures Group, where she focused on providing digital media strategy to clients in the entertainment and media industries and creating, producing and implementing social media training programs for several Fortune 500 companies.
Peters graduated from Miami University with a B.A. in mass communication. She will receive her MBA in May 2013 from New York University's Stern School of Business. Peters is based out of iCrossing's headquarters in New York.
