Is your leadership style true to your values? Adelaide leaders are invited to join expert facilitators Dr Jean Murray and Henrietta Child for a breakfast workshop to explore the importance of values in leadership.
At a time where leadership values have been publicly challenged on our national centre stage, this workshop is particularly relevant.
KneeDeep Managing Director Henrietta Child says: “Values frame our thinking at work and guide our decision-making. The more we live by our values, the easier it is for others to know who we are. That's the way we build the connections which are an essential part of leadership.
"But when times get tough, values can often seem hard to maintain. Compromises seem inevitable but they are not always desirable. Look at what happened last week in politics and this week opinion polls to see how disconnected people feel."
But why are our values important in business leadership?
According to Dr Murray, our personal values combined with our professional values are linked directly to our credibility as leaders. "Credibility doesn’t come with a title or position. Credibility is earned, and one way we earn it is by demonstrating our values through actions and decisions."
This breakfast workshop is designed to deliver tailored content in an intimate forum using light-hearted scenarios over the well-known and delicious cooked breakfast at Adelaide eatery Rigoni’s, finishing before the working day begins.
