A key forum on alternative power solutions for mining companies is being held in Adelaide today, Thursday 21st Feb, at Crowne Plaza in the city.

Listed Renewable Power & Water Company, Solco Ltd., joins multi-national product vendors and renewable energy system integrators presenting at a forum especially designed for the mining industry, hosted by the Federal Governments’ Department of Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education and renewables industry body The Clean Energy Council in Adelaide today.

The workshop is focussing on the developing “off-grid” market, where renewable power generation matched with battery storage is gaining traction with the mining sector.

Solco’s EPC/ Power division is presenting to attendees about the learnings and benefits of a 66kW hybrid solar/ diesel power solution completed late last year for a BHP mine site in North West Western Australia.
