Tuesday, January 19th, 2010 - The NSW State Legal Conference
The New South Wales State Legal Conference will be held on Friday 26th, Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st March 2010 at the SMC Conference Centre, Corner Goulburn & Castlereagh Streets, Sydney.

Government regulation and the Law Society Solicitors' Rules require solicitors to complete at least three hours of continuing legal education each year in specific areas. These mandatory areas include ethics and professional responsibility, management, business and professional skills, equal opportunity, discrimination and OH&S.

The first 2010 CLE conference has something for everyone. There are 44 different sessions over four days covering Property Law, Personal Injury Law, Family Law, Elder Law and ADR sessions, as well as fifteen sessions of interest to commercial lawyers over the four days of the Conference.

There are also two half day packages for lawyers needing to fulfil their mandatory Rule 42 and Regulation 176 requirements before 31st March 2010.

Speakers at the conference will consist of 118 presenters from the judiciary, the medical profession, Sydney universities, the Bar, and the solicitors arm of the legal profession as well as from government agencies.

At a time that offers many financial challenges to the legal profession, The NSW State Legal Conference is satisfied they can continue to offer lawyers of New South Wales high quality CLE at very competitive prices.

A Conference Program guide and full Conference details are now available on the Conference website at http://www.nswstatelegal.com.au. Attendees are able to register online for any of the individual sessions or conference packages.
