The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) recently announced the Star Rating results of all Job Services Australia (JSA) and Disability Employment Service (DES) providers.

These results have been widely celebrated by MAX Employment staff with 26 locations receiving the maximum rating of 5 stars for their JSA and DES services respectively. A further 9 locations have moved up a star from a rating of 3 to a very high standard of 4 stars.

Star ratings are released publicly on a quarterly basis and are used to demonstrate the performance levels of each individual site of all JSA and DES providers.

Managing Director Deborah Homewood said that these results reflect MAX Employment’s motto of ‘finding jobs, changing lives’ and highlights the standard of the services that they offer.

“We are delighted with these results and commend all our staff for their dedication to their clients and their hard work,” she said.

“At MAX Employment it is not just about recruitment, it is about helping people change their lives and the results of the star ratings reflect our commitment to helping more people find employment” continued Ms Homewood.

MAX Employment is currently midway into their Greatest Gift Campaign which aims to secure 10,000 jobs before Christmas.

Ms Homewood said while finding 10,000 jobs in such a short time was a challenge, it was possible and would make for a much brighter Christmas for 10,000 currently unemployed people.

“Giving someone a job has greater benefits than merely receiving a pay check, it affects not only the person with the job but their family, their friends and their community,” Ms Homewood said.

“That is why the Star Ratings are an important quality measure, not only for the industry itself but also for those people impacted by what we do. As a quality employer with 26, 5 star rated sites for our JSA and DES services respectively, we are confident that we will be able to assist all our clients on their journey to employment,” she said.
