The MS Society of SA & NT welcomes Bernie Lewis as the naming rights partner for the inaugural MS Mud Run.
Bernie Lewis is an iconic brand in South Australia. They have helped over 80,000 people achieve their personal dreams of owning a home as well as providing advice on superannuation, insurance and investments.
Executive Chairman of Bernie Lewis, Mr Mark Lewis, is pleased to be involved in such a unique event.
“We are very proud to be a part of this ‘first of its kind’ Mud Run event held in Adelaide, and in particular supporting the MS Society of SA & NT. This event provides a great opportunity for families, couples and singles, to get down and dirty, raising money for the MS Society. We will be encouraging all our staff, business partners and clients to get involved on the day, and look forward to seeing all participants making this an annual event,” said Mr Lewis.
MS Society CEO Graeme Warnock welcomes the partnership with Bernie Lewis.
"I am delighted to have Bernie Lewis on board for such an exciting event. We welcome their support of the Bernie Lewis MS Mud Run and of people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in South Australia and Northern Territory.
"We look forward to developing our partnership with Bernie Lewis for the 2012 event and into the future,” said Mr Warnock.
The Bernie Lewis MS Mud Run will take place on December 2nd at Urrbrae Agricultural High School. Competitors will navigate obstacles including a barrel-filled mud pit, a slippery mud slide, cargo net crawl and a hay bale mountain over the 4km course. Mud runners are encouraged to fundraise for people living with MS in South Australia and Northern Territory.
There will be an adult division and a smaller 2km ‘Mini Mudders’ course for children aged 8 –15. Participants will compete in waves throughout the day and the adults will compete in a final race to determine the winner of the day. Prizes will be awarded to the overall race winner and the highest fundraisers.
