Donate to help the Black Dog Ride
With the Black Dog Ride to the Red Centre a little over a month away, now is the time to make your last minute donation to the cause, which will see almost 300 motorcyclists depart on a week-long journey to the Red Centre.
The Black Dog Ride, in its third year this year, is a national fundraiser aiming to generate awareness of depression and suicide prevention in Australia. Funds raised by the riders go directly to the Black Dog Institute, to assist in the implementation of their Community Education Programs.
Last year’s ride raised $161, 665. Steve Andrews, the Ride’s founder, is hoping to raise $250, 000 this year, eclipsing previous year’s efforts.
In the month of July, the first three donations of $500 or more will take home double passes to the epic AFL clash between the Sydney Swans and the Collingwood Magpies on Saturday 11th August at ANZ Stadium in Sydney.
Ugly Fish Sunglasses have also donated a number of pairs of sunglasses to go to the highest individual fundraisers.
