SeaLink - Kangaroo Island’s ferry service and tour operator is adding to its fleet of small and large coaches on Kangaroo Island with the purchase of two, brand new Higer mid-size coaches.
The two new coaches being introduced to the fleet will operate on the company’s daily two-day Coast to Coast tour around Kangaroo Island.
“This two-day tour is a favourite with visitors to Kangaroo Island who wish to see many of the key attractions of this special holiday destination,” said Ms Donna Gauci, SeaLink’s General Manager.
Feedback and research has shown us that some visitors prefer travelling in smaller groups however still enjoying the comforts that a larger coach offers,” she said.
Mr Andrew Watt, SeaLink’s Coach Operations Manager, said “We searched the world for the right type of vehicle and settled on the Higer Ryder model which we are sure our customers are going to love with comforts such as reclining leather seats which also move sideways to allow more room for the person next to them and the dark tint saloon glass, panoramic windows which will allow them to take in all the beautiful sights of Kangaroo Island”.
The 8 metre Ryder model is ideal for tourist and executive travel. It comfortably seats 33 people (large coaches seat 53 and smaller coaches seat 23), is air conditioned, has slide through luggage bins, safety belts, electric heated mirrors, security monitoring system with reversing cameras, LCD colour TV and DVD player.
