South Australia's sixteen country Toyota Dealers are getting behind their local under 16 year old sporting clubs with a great prize for the club and chance for the kids to bring out their unique country creativity.

Following on from the highly successful Good For Country Footy - Great for Country Kids campaigns that have run around rural Australia for over 5 years, this year Toyota Dealers throughout South Australia have expanded their sporting reach to include all kids in under 16 country sporting clubs.

Adelaide Crows players Patrick Dangerfield, Kurt Tippet and Nathan van Berlo have launched the competition as ambassadors for the Good For Country Footy - Great for Country Kids campaign.

Running throughout July 2012 the campaign centres around the kids making a Toyota advertisement to promote their local country dealership based on why their town is a Toyota Town.

The ad can be in the form of a television commercial, radio ad, poster, press ad or even a jingle. The winning entry wins a new Toyota Yaris 3 door hatch valued at $20,124 for their sporting club. In addition, the winning entry will be aired or printed in their country area.

Good For Country Sport - Great for Country Kids campaign spokesperson Felicity Henshaw says that they are looking forward to bringing out the creativity of country kids.

"Kids these days are so tech savvy - they can make a commercial or poster or create a jingle on their favourite electronic devices. It's second nature to them," says Felicity Henshaw.

"So we're really excited about giving country kids an outlet for their creativity while offering a great prize that the winning sporting club can use as they wish - they can keep it for the club or they may choose to auction it off for a big funding boost.

"Plus the kids who created the winning entry will receive the cudos of having their creation put to air.

"Toyota Dealers across regional South Australia have always supported their local sporting clubs and this is a great way for them to put back into their community again, on an even broader scale.

"So the dealers can't wait to get out there and rev up the kids and encourage them to take part so their regional area can win. It's friendly rivalry as always in the country and it's so good for country kids."
