LAUNCESTON, Tasmania - 13 May 2005. Launceston software company, Imagination Corporation announces that it has received a $20,000 Innovations Program Grant to develop its Trapeze eforms solution on the Microsoft .Net platform.
Trapeze, a server side middleware solution which captures field data from Microsoft Word and Excel forms and automatically populates databases and generates PDF and HTML reports, is currently developed in the PHP and MYSQL platform. To expand the market for the product and to make it suitable for larger ERP integrations, the Innovations Program Grant will be used to develop a .Net version of the application.
Trapeze has already enjoyed market success on the PHP platform. Managing Director of Imagination Corp, Mr Jason Bresnehan said TrapezeX is the central data collection tool for Australian Pork Limited who uses the system to collect performance data for hundreds of Australian pork producers and then populates a national benchmarking database.
The .Net version of the product will be launched on the 1st of July.
Mr Bresnehan said the Innovations Grant is very important to Imagination Corporation as it is both helpful in terms of cash flow and it gives some level of government imprimatur and credibility for our current and future client base, which is very important for a growing company.
