The 5th Supply Chain Distinction Awards 2012 recognise outstanding achievements in the area of supply chain and logistics. Nominations were assessed by a panel of experts from the supply chain industry, and the Supply Chain Technology category recognises technology ideas that made substantial improvements to supply chain. The judging panel assessed each entry under the following guiding principles: clarity of objectives, effective resource allocation, quality of implementation, focus on manufacturing excellence, innovation, impact on customer perception, and results.
