Saturday, March 31st, 2012 - PlayUp
Rugby League and Union fans will have unparalleled access to some of the biggest names in rugby during this weekend’s live games via the globally successful live sports social network, PlayUp.

PlayUp is the first ever mobile-based sports social network that enables sports fans to follow the live game (scores and stats) from more than 50 leagues worldwide while being able to easily connect and message friends for free and banter with mates all from the one App.

During Friday night’s Super League (15’s) game, Highlanders vs Melbourne Rebels injured Rebel’s player Danny Cipriani will be available in a live game ‘hangout’ within the PlayUp App where he will provide his own insights and banter with fans play-by-play as it happens.

The following evening during the NSW Waratahs vs Chiefs game, Wallabies and Rebels player Kurtley Beale will be available in a PlayUp hangout to engage with fans and provide his own unique perspective on the live action.

To join the conversation with your favourite rugby and league stars over the coming week, download PlayUp from http://app.playup.com

Since its launch in 2007, the mobile app has become a top 10 free sports in 40 countries worldwide – peaking at number two in Australia, as well as number one in Hong Kong and China, three in the USA, four in Korea and India and seven in Japan to name a few.
