SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- dealReporter, an actionable intelligence service providing price sensitive information for the equity and fixed income markets, today announces the launch of its Dividend Outlook Service in Asia-Pacific, which enhances its existing coverage by providing in-house valuation models and analysis to subscribers.

The new Dividend Outlook Service covers all companies listed on the S&P/ASX 50. It compliments dealReporter's existing service by consolidating dividend related announcements and providing analysis that reflects the latest developments of individual companies with the aid of the proprietary intelligence produced by the dealReporter editorial team. "dealReporter has been providing proprietary intelligence to the equity and fixed income investment community since its establishment in 2001. The Dividend Outlook Service does not only provide independent ratings of companies in the research universe and forecasts of their dividend cycles and payouts in the coming three years, but it also offers subscribers unique insights in the potential dividend suspensions and reinstatements," said Alexei Komarov, Head of Europe and EEMEA Research at dealReporter.

Developed markets have traditionally been the destinations for investors who seek stable and strong dividend yields. However, Asia has seen strong growth in recent years with an average dividend yield in Asia-ex Japan of 3.16% in Jan 2012. Amongst the region, China's average dividend yield increased from 0.79% in 2007 to 3.15% in 2012, whilst Australia saw yields increased from 3.68% in 2007 to 4.73% in 2012.

The user friendly layout of the Dividend Outlook Service, offers a transparent and systematic overview of the dividend policy, previous and estimated performance and financials of individual companies. The service also provides an insight into future events and the forecast of how these will affect the companies' dividend policy and outlook.

"The Dividend Outlook Service powered by dealReporter has been servicing the subscribers in Europe since April 2011. Given the growing importance of the Asia-Pacific market amongst the dividend yield and sensitivity seeking investors, the launch of this service in the region is a natural strategic move. dealReporter always strives for assisting subscribers with their investment decisions, this new service will no doubt facilitate our subscribers who have investment interests in Australia. Going forward, we will extend our Dividend Outlook Service coverage to the whole of Asia-Pacific to further benefit our subscribers," added Komarov.
