Local Gold Coast business Think Gold Coast (Think GC) are offering the public a $5000 cash giveaway and a number of prizes as part of their “Think GC Fan Page Lotto”. Subscribers to Think Gold Coast’s website are entered into the draw to receive the cash and prizes upon “liking” Think GC’s Facebook page. The promotion will begin on March 1 and will support Gold Coast restaurants, shopping destinations, tourist attractions and a variety of local businesses.
The prizes on offer will include a $100 gift voucher from fashion retailer Dissh, 2-3 month gym memberships at various Jetts locations and a $100 voucher for use at premier Gold Coast restaurant Black Angus Bar and Grill.
Local businesses will be promoted and referenced on the Think GC Facebook page. Think GC subscribers will be assigned a “lotto” number. There will be 32 prizes in total and there will be no cost to enter. The winner will be announced when the Think GC Facebook page reaches 30,000 “likes”.
The lotto will feature prizes that would benefit tourists as well as practical rewards for Gold Coast’s local demographic, e.g. a $100 voucher for Snap Printing in Southport.

The lotto will be a great marketing vehicle for Snap Printing,” Mr Urquhart said.
Think GC is an online magazine that promotes Gold Coast restaurants, shopping destinations and attractions while providing reviews and relevant tourist information. Think GC provides the “ThinkPink” loyalty card free to subscribers of their website. The card entitles the bearer to discounts provided by over 100 local Gold Coast merchants.
