The Gold Coast’s longest serving advertising agency has teamed up with one of the city’s best-known filmmakers in an effort to help businesses make sense of the changing marketing landscape.

HeadlineAd has welcomed Chris Mamouzelos from Paradise Films to the company to uphold their reputation as the premier full-service advertising agency in South East Queensland.

HeadlineAd, fronted by fourth generation local David Lister and advertising stalwart Murray Morgan, say bringing Chris in-house will broaden their service offering with a dedicated digital video arm under the same roof.

“Chris has years experience in the industry, with an extensive list of contacts and a very strong approach to customer service,” Mr Lister says.

“By offering Chris the opportunity to combine his skills with ours and join the fold in our studios we reduce costs which can translate to savings for our clients.

“His area of expertise covers all aspects of corporate, film, video and television commercials production, all of which are valuable tools in any marketing program.”

Mr Mamouzelos has over 15 years experience as a journalist and documentary maker having trained with Prime TV in rural NSW before starting his own production company Paradise Films.

He has produced a number of corporate documentaries for a range of businesses including multinationals such as Boehringer Ingelheim, UBS Warburg, Pfizer and Hewlett Packard.

He teaches media training at Griffith University and has completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in media and communications and a Master of Arts majoring in documentary production.

Mr Lister says welcoming Chris to the team coincides with other refinements to their business model.

“We have adjusted our business model to provide design, strategy and production through a seamless service offering to ultimately provide our customers with one point of contact and the best value for money,” Mr Lister says.

“With tough economic times most businesses have tried to manage different service providers themselves in an effort to save costs, but in most cases they end up with a disjointed and ineffectual marketing campaign.

“We can now offer a full marketing and advertising suite from strategy through to design and production without any outsourcing, which means our clients key messages get straight through to their audience, increasing sales and their bottom line.”

HeadlineAd recently teamed up with TMD Online to provide web development as part of their full service offering.
