ElectraNet will connect the 117MW Waterloo Wind Farm (39 turbines) to the Waterloo – Robertstown number two 132kV transmission line in the mid north of our State.

ElectraNet’s scope of works will include a new substation, 1.5km of 132kV double circuit transmission line and associated telecommunications infrastructure.

Determination in pursuing the project objectives (including ElectraNet’s contractors - CPP and Telstra) will remain and be carried through into the next phases of the project; so as to ensure that the design and construct phase of the project will progress as planned.

Energisation is expected in July 2010.
