Experts in the Australian Manufacturing Segment offer Essential Business Advice to Manufacturing Employees – AMCRC’s Innovation Management Training Creates Excitement in Australia’s Manufacturing Sector
AMCRC’s Innovativity Program Sparks Interest amid Australia’s ManufacturersThere’s been a show of excitement in Australia’s manufacturing sector with the introduction of AMCRC’s Innovation Management Training last June in Melbourne, Australia. Being the only known company globally to offer insight to Innovation Management specifically designed for manufacturing business, Innovativity is well on its way to making a name for itself among Australian manufacturers looking for ways to increase profitability and sustainment.
“The Innovativity course provided a good overview of the innovation process with some excellent practical examples and tools,” noted Craig Lewis of Planet Innovation, an attendant of the Innovativity program in June. “I am looking forward to implementing the knowledge learnt to improve our innovation/product development and maximise the value obtained.” Lewis concluded.
Future attendees can expect to gain a wealth of knowledge and practical skills from the Innovativity program, gaining a competive advantage in their market on a global scale.
Innovativity Program Focuses on Practical Innovation Framework
The Innovativity program, which spans 4 days and covers topics such as: defining innovation, how to pre-empt the market, and maximising intangible assets, is collaborated by the AMCRC’s leading innovation specialists. Participants of the program are provided with the key elements of Innovation management to assist them in taking their innovation ideas to global markets.
“Innovativity gives Australian Manufacturers a true unfair advantage for achieving success in global markets by equipping them with practical, real-world skills, tools and resources to develop, and protect and commercialise technology,” exclaimed Andrew McLellan, AMCRC’s Commercialisation Manager.
IP (Intellectual Property) is also a focal point with Innovativity as it relates to the success and sustainment of manufacturing firms in Australia. More than ever, IP is seen as the future of advanced manufacturing; knowledge is power and the centre of creating wealth and sustainment in today’s business environment. Unfortunately, Australian manufacturing firms and their employees are behind the pack when it comes to harnessing the potential of IP.
Innovativity Program Puts Ideas to Work
Judging from the feedback received from the last Innovation Management Training program held in June, participants collectively agreed that Innovativity had given them just what they were looking for; valuable information they can take back to their businesses and apply effectively with positive results. AMCRC expects an increase in participation due to the overwhelming success of its first program in June.
Innovativity’s next Innovation Management Training Program kicks off in Melbourne, with dates set for the 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th of October. Seats are limited to 25 participants, so those interested are encouraged to register at their earliest convenience. Future programs have also been set for the month of November in Brisbane, and February in Sydney with media coverage expected in upcoming events.
Innovativity, conceived by the Advanced Manufacturing Co-Operative Research Centre (AMCRC), provides training as it relates to innovation management while focusing on key solutions to promote and sustain innovation. Innovativity also equips employees with proven skills, tools, and resources required to develop, protect, and commercialise new technology.
