The Fashion Icon High Tea is a new and exciting event, which has been introduced to the Perth Fashion Festival calendar for 2011.

Via Appia Networking WA will host the afternoon in association with the Festival and the event promises to be full of fun, fashion and, as a huge coup – Internationally acclaimed opera singer Sara Mcliver will perform.

The icons are all Western Australian fashion identities and all of them have contributed towards the success of WA’s fashion industry. The ‘icons’ include well known identities such as The Rt Hon the Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi (pictured) Liz Davenport, Maurice Meade, Liz Carberry – one of Australia’s most
celebrated models of the 70’s and 80’s and Nanette Carnachan, owner of Mid 70’s Concept who has recently celebrated 30 years in fashion.

A delicious high tea will be enjoyed by the guests and then the icons will take part in a Q&A style panel show, where the guests will be able to ask them questions and listen to their stories of how they started in the fashion industry and how it has changed over the years.
