Gold Coast, AUSTRALIA – 24 August, 2011 – At Microsoft’s Australian Partner Conference (APC) on the Gold Coast late yesterday afternoon, 720 Microsoft partners gathered to honour 17 partners for their exemplary delivery of innovative solutions and services to customers during the past year.

The Microsoft Australia Partner Awards (MAPAs) recognise partners who deliver outstanding solutions using Microsoft technologies to address customer business needs and challenges. The winning partners were chosen out of a national field of 300 nominations from Australian partners, with MAPAs presented in 20 categories.

“The MAPAs provide us with the opportunity to celebrate the success of our local partner network,” said Evan Williams, Small and Medium Business & Partner Group Director, Microsoft Australia. “Our partners’ achievements are a testament to the expertise, dedication and innovation they continually demonstrate in delivering first class solutions to our customers. We offer our wholehearted congratulations to the 17 winners, as well as the finalists, and look forward to continuing to work with and growing our existing partner ecosystem.”
