Brisbane-based aged care provider Tall Trees has expanded into three new locations, providing seniors in QLD and northern NSW with a number of new, high quality living options.

The new neighbourhoods, located in Caboolture, Redland Bay and Banora Point, will all utilise Tall Trees’ model which allows seniors to live in an apartment that they own while receiving whatever level of care they require.

This will bring the company’s number of aged care locations to five, with the new neighbourhoods joining existing ones at Rochedale and Tanah Merah on the south side of Brisbane.

Tall Trees has also announced a new weekly pricing scheme that starts at approximately 30 per cent of the weekly pension, and includes care, all grounds keeping, property maintenance, breakfasts, reduced cost lunches and dinners, and a concierge service, so just about anyone can enjoy living at a Tall Trees neighbourhood.

Company director Phil Usher says the expansion will make a marked difference to the aged care landscape in both states.

“We provide the highest quality services to seniors living in our fully featured, resort-style neighbourhoods,” Mr Usher says.

“Whether our residents need low, high, or palliative care, we can provide it to them affordably in the comfort of their own homes, ensuring absolute privacy and dignity at all times.

“Receiving care shouldn’t require compromises—that’s why we run our communities with a hospitality-style model, where we do everything possible to fit in seamlessly with our residents’ lives.

“Aged care in Australia is changing, with more and more people turning away from the traditional nursing home model which is often perceived to be quite rigid and impersonal.

“We are at the forefront of this change, and as such I’m proud to say we offer a service that has significantly improved the lives of many of our seniors.”

Mr Usher says the Tall Trees has carefully looked at their pricing schemes to deliver new, highly accessible options to seniors looking for quality care.

“We’ve remodeled our weekly charges to make Tall Trees’ comprehensive style of aged care available to as many seniors as possible,” Mr Usher says.

“Under the new structure, seniors can live here for a third of the weekly pension, receiving all of the associated care, lifestyle and community benefits associated with our service offering.

“More and more seniors are looking for choices outside of the traditional nursing home options, and this provides them with a truly viable and better alternative.”

Tall Trees communities typically include modern and specially designed accommodation apartments which are more than four times the size of a nursing home room, leisure centres incorporating a restaurant, theatre, community store and lounge, all set amongst landscaped gardens and close to major medical and shopping facilities.

The new villages offer something for all tastes. Banora Point in northern NSW offers the best of the Tweed Coast and boasts a relaxing ocean outlook, Caboolture on Brisbane’s northside is nestled amongst a close-knit rural community, and Redland Bay enjoys unique bayside living within close proximity to Brisbane’s eastern suburbs.
