GOLD COAST, Australia (August 22, 2011) – The $700 million Hilton Surfers Paradise complex on Queensland's Gold Coast will officially open its doors on Wednesday 14 September 2011.
Positioned as a Hilton Hotels & Resorts newest flagship leisure property in Australia, the hotel is the first Hilton in the country to offer a combination of guest rooms and holiday residences.
A landmark event for the destination's tourism industry, Hilton Surfers Paradise is also the first new upper upscale international hotel to be built on the Gold Coast in over 10 years.
Bookings can now be made for the property, which features an unprecedented range of accommodation options to suit the needs of all holiday-makers including 169 guest rooms and 250 modern one, two and three bedroom residences.
Hilton Surfers Paradise General Manager David Kelly said the complex had been specifically designed in response to the demand for more flexible and spacious holiday options in the area.

FIX: Renowned International and Sydney-based mixologist Grant Collins is taking the lead role with the opening of FIX, an ultra stylish lounge bar.
