PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA, 19 AUGUST 2011 – SolveIT Software Pty Ltd, a leading provider of enterprise software for supply & demand optimisation and predictive modelling, announced today that it has opened a new office in Perth located at Level 8, St Martins Towers, 44 St Georges Terrace in Perth’s CBD district.
"The opening of the Perth Office extends on the recent openings in Brisbane and Europe and continues the execution of our rapid expansion strategy” said James Balzary, Director of Resources at SolveIT Software. “We are finding that our collaborative partnering approach to engagement warrants a presence in close proximity to our key clients, and Perth is a global hub for resources development projects and commodity-based supply chains. These complex process driven organisations view planning, scheduling and optimisation as a critical area to improve so that they can deliver accurate production forecasts and effectively monitor the success of capacity expansion projects.”
“Additionally, the emergence of remotely managed assets and centralisedoperations control rooms in Perth for mining companies is gaining significant traction and this aligns with our philosophy that enterprise wide integrated planning is a goal that can deliver significant benefits to supply/demand chain driven organisations.”
SolveIT will be expanding its services and consulting capability in Perth, led by Brigid Reidy, a 20 year experienced project manager and supply chain expert who previously worked for leading global companies such as Pfizer.
“While we are a software company, the importance of coupling software with process improvement is critical to both ours and our clients’ success. Our engagement model is transformational and touches many areas of a business in an attempt to break down functional planning silos” said Brigid. “This requires a more hands on approach in the early stages of our software implementations and the establishment of the Perth presence allows us to react quickly to client needs”.
Existing Perth-based customers of SolveIT Software include BHP Billiton Iron Ore, Rio Tinto Iron Ore, Fortescue Metals Group, and CBH Grain.
